Flume Trail Mountain Biking Adventure

Few trails in the world compare to the Flume trail located on the Northeast shore of Lake Tahoe.  The history of the flume dates back to the 1800's, where a before-it's-time irrigation system was used to transport nearly 10 million gallons of water to Virginia City a day!  Today a singletrack trail follows the original path of this engineering feat and brings you close to the history of Tahoe.  Beware, there are tight sections of this trail with steep dropoffs, however for the most part this is a smooth and easy beginner bike ride.
